Winsted Resident Phil Fay in Final Stages, Community Rallies with Fundraiser for Family Support

Winsted, Connecticut – The community is coming together to support the family of Phil Fay, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who is in the final stages of his life. A fundraiser, organized by Shawna Coon, is seeking to raise $2,000 to help cover funeral and memorial expenses as the family prepares to say their goodbyes.

Phil Fay, well-known for his love of fishing, dirt track racing at Lebanon, and watching NASCAR, is remembered as a family man and friend who brought joy to those around him. His passing will leave a significant void in the lives of his loved ones.

So far, $220 has been raised through donations from members of the community, including contributions from Caitlin Kehoe and Natalie Carpanzano, who donated $20 and $200, respectively. The fundraiser aims to alleviate the financial burden on Phil’s family as they navigate this difficult time.

The family has expressed deep gratitude for the support and kindness shown by the community, and any further donations, no matter the size, are welcome to help cover the remaining expenses.

Those wishing to contribute to the fundraiser can do so through the GoFundMe page organized by Shawna Coon, with all donations guaranteed protection under the GoFundMe Giving Guarantee. The family thanks everyone for their prayers and continued support.
