Waynesboro Resident Gerry Powell Passes Away, Fundraiser Launched to Cover Cremation Costs

Waynesboro, PA – Gerry Powell, a local resident, unexpectedly passed away earlier this week, leaving his family in need of support. His daughter, Jennifer Bricker, has launched a fundraiser to help cover the costs of his cremation.

Jennifer, who is his only next of kin, expressed the emotional and financial difficulty she is facing following her father’s death. She is seeking assistance from the community to raise $2,000 to afford the cremation expenses.

As of today, $500 has been raised through donations from individuals who have shown their support, including contributions from donors like John Huckle, Andrea Flook, and Debbie Mohn. The fundraiser continues to gather momentum, with eight donations so far.

Jennifer has expressed her deep gratitude for the help received and hopes that others can continue to contribute in memory of her father, Gerry Powell.
