Hollywood, Florida – The family of Valentina Gutierrez is seeking help to bring her home to Colombia after she tragically lost her life in a car accident. Valentina, a young woman whose life was cut short due to a collision caused by a reckless driver at high speed, leaves behind grieving loved ones who are now trying to repatriate her body.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by her uncle, Leonardo Gutierrez, who is organizing the effort on behalf of the Gutierrez and Torres families. The funds will help Valentina’s mother, who remains in Colombia without the means to travel to the United States, say her final goodbyes.
The fundraiser, titled "Help Repatriate Valentina Gutierrez to her loved ones," has set a goal of raising $10,000. As of today, the campaign has raised $25 from an early supporter, Melissa Giovanna Rodríguez Hurtado.
Leonardo Gutierrez expressed deep gratitude for any support they can receive, stating, "Anything will help, and we will forever be grateful."
The Gutierrez family hopes that the funds will allow them to give Valentina a proper farewell, surrounded by her loved ones in her home country of Colombia.
