San Leandro, California – Jasmine Quiroga has urgently launched a fundraiser to support the medical expenses of Timon, a beloved pet who has been severely injured in a recent accident. Timon, a two-year-old dog, was struck by a car after escaping from his home, resulting in critical injuries including a ruptured organ and a broken hip and spine.
The emergency surgery required to treat Timon is estimated to cost $11,000. So far, $105 has been raised through three donations, including contributions from Susana Gonzalez, Vinny G, and Paymaneh Khalili, each donating $35.
Jasmine Quiroga, who is organizing the fundraiser, has expressed deep concern and appealed for further financial support. She has covered $2,700 of the surgery costs through CareCredit but needs additional help to meet the total expenses. Timon, who will turn two this December, is in desperate need of a successful surgery to ensure his recovery.
The community’s response has been supportive, and anyone willing to contribute can do so through the ongoing fundraiser.
