Urgent Fundraiser Launched for Ouday Zohbi Following Severe Motor Vehicle Accident in Edmonton

Edmonton, Alberta – Ouday Zohbi, a 20-year-old Edmonton resident, is in critical condition after a serious motor vehicle accident. The young man sustained multiple severe injuries, including a skull fracture, an intracranial bleed, and a lung contusion. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where he remains incubated and sedated.

The news of Ouday’s condition has led to a significant outpouring of support from the community. A fundraiser, organized by Rafic Malas, has been set up to help cover the substantial medical expenses not covered by insurance. The goal is to raise $16,000 to alleviate the financial burden on Ouday’s family, who are facing overwhelming costs.

As of now, the fundraiser has collected $1,970 from 19 donations. Contributions have varied, with some individuals giving as much as $500, while others have offered $25. Every donation is crucial in providing the necessary relief and ensuring that Ouday receives the urgent care he needs.

Rafic Malas, who is leading the fundraising effort, has made a heartfelt appeal for support. He emphasizes that no contribution is too small and urges everyone to donate and share the fundraiser to maximize its reach.
