A devastating tragedy has struck the family of Elder Chidi Jacob in the Ibibi Uratta, Ama-Ise Auto community of Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, Abia State. Mrs. Amanda Stanley and her three children, Miss Chikama, Master Ogbughikem, and Favour, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2024, leaving the community in deep mourning.
The family has announced the burial arrangements, scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024. The body will depart from Allied Mortuary for their hometown, followed by a funeral service organized by the Apostolic Christian Mission (ACCM).
A close friend, Precious Onyeonabiya, shared her sorrow, recalling how she and Amanda had made plans for an upcoming celebration, only for those hopes to be shattered by the heartbreaking news of the sudden deaths.
The loss of this young family has left a lasting impact on the community. Many have expressed their grief, with one local, Livinus Ikechukwu, commenting, “Rip to them.” Another mourner, Chidi Nwaome, shared, “Very painful. Rest in peace!!!”
