Tracy D. Sizemore, Milan, Michigan Community Member and Veteran, Passes Away at Age 47

Milan, Michigan – Tracy D. Sizemore, a beloved community member and proud veteran, passed away at the age of 47 on September 14, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home in Milan. Born on November 2, 1976, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Tracy’s life was marked by service, dedication, and an enduring love for her family, friends, and fellow veterans.

Tracy graduated from Bastrop High School in Texas before joining the Air Force, where she served with honor and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Her time in the military introduced her to her husband, Randall Sizemore, whom she married on July 11, 1998. The couple later settled in Michigan, where Tracy worked for the Federal Correctional Institution in Milan until her medical retirement in 2022.

Tracy was also one of the founding members of Foundation 14, a Veterans Motorcycle Organization. Her passion for motorcycles and supporting veterans became a key aspect of her life, where she helped build strong bonds and create a support network for those who had served.

Known for her warm and friendly nature, Tracy was a social butterfly who loved making those around her feel special. Whether riding motorcycles, playing board games, or engaging in conversations, she had a remarkable way of connecting with people.

Several friends and community members have shared their condolences and memories on social media, highlighting the profound impact Tracy had on their lives.

Rich Shafer, one of Tracy’s close friends, wrote, "One of the founding members of Foundation 14. The world lost a truly special person."
Sherry Patton expressed her gratitude for Tracy’s service, stating, "Thank you for your service, Tracy."
Other messages of sympathy include, "Oh No! So sorry, Rich!" from Michelle Schwartz McCrea, and, "My condolences, prayers for family and friends," from Jimmy Dawson.
