Timothy Irving Montague of New London Tragically Passes Away in Fiery Crash on I-95

New London, CT – Timothy Irving Montague, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 13, 2024, in a tragic accident. The fatal incident occurred on I-95 near Groton, where a fiery crash claimed the lives of two individuals.

Timothy is survived by his father, Melvin Montague; his brother, Thomas Oliver Montague, and nephew, Thomas James Montague. He also leaves behind five children: Angelina, Kylie, Natalia, Dominic, and Camden. Sadly, he was predeceased by his mother, Caroljo Shpak.

Known for his warm heart and positive spirit, Tim was cherished by many. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed music, and was always surrounded by friends and family. Those close to him remember his infectious smile and adventurous nature. Described as a person who could always be counted on, Tim left a lasting impression on those who had the fortune of knowing him.

In the wake of his passing, a fundraiser has been organized by Angelina Frascarelli to support Tim’s family during this difficult time. The goal is to raise $10,000 to help cover funeral costs and provide the proper services that Timothy deserves. As of today, $250 has been raised from three generous donors: Thomas Montague, who contributed $100, Jillian Murray with $50, and James O’Grady, who donated $100.

The family is deeply appreciative of any support to help ease their financial burden during this time of grief.
