Theresa Ayers, a former student of Piqua Schools, has passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2024, according to a recent announcement on social media. She was 58 years old. Theresa’s death has left many of her former classmates and friends from Piqua, Ohio, deeply saddened.
Theresa attended High Street Elementary, Bennett Jr. High, and Piqua High School before her family relocated in the summer of 1984. After graduating from another high school, she went on to build a successful career as a Regional Manager in California, traveling extensively throughout Northern California and the San Diego area. Theresa was known for her love of Journey’s music and Disney films.
Her passing has elicited an outpouring of grief and fond memories from those who knew her. "So sad. Hate to hear you have lost a former classmate. Prayers to her family," wrote Patsy Bright Weyant, echoing the sentiments of many who shared their condolences online. Another friend, Toni Ross, remembered her as a great friend growing up and expressed sorrow at hearing of her passing.
Theresa is survived by her mother and siblings, Michael and Mark Ayers. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
