Thornton, Colorado – Stella Dregney, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, leaving a deep void in the lives of those who knew her. Stella, who was known for her kind heart and love for her family, was 64 years old.
Stella was a vibrant individual who enjoyed dancing, visiting casinos, playing bingo, cooking, and decorating her home for every holiday season. She also had a love for shopping, particularly at thrift stores, and was known for her collection of seasonal blankets. Her warmth and generous spirit touched many people, and she made friends wherever she went.
In the days following her passing, the community has shown an outpouring of support. A GoFundMe fundraiser, organized by Alyssa Montoya, was created to help the family with funeral expenses. So far, $100 has been raised toward the goal of $10,000.
