St. Louis Resident Donna Simmons Passes Away Unexpectedly – Family Seeks Help for Her Final Resting Place

St. Louis, Missouri – Donna Simmons, a resident of St. Louis, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2024, leaving her family in deep mourning. Without immediate family nearby, her nieces and nephews have stepped in to organize her final arrangements.

Donna, who did not have life insurance, left behind no financial resources to cover her funeral expenses. As a result, her family is now asking for donations through a GoFundMe campaign to help with her cremation and transportation of her remains back to Tennessee, where she will be laid to rest.

Shane Matheny, her nephew, is leading the effort. The fundraiser has set a goal of $2,000 to cover the necessary expenses. So far, only $60 has been raised from one donor, Keisha Hale, as of Thursday night.

Any additional funds raised beyond the funeral costs will be donated to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville, Tennessee, to assist other families in need.

The family expresses deep gratitude to anyone able to contribute and support them during this challenging time.
