Myalup, Western Australia – Shane "Shaz" Hassett, also known affectionately as "Haz" and "Hairy," tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident on September 3, 2024. He was on his way home when the accident occurred in Myalup. Although Shane was initially able to contact his family, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Shane’s family has been left devastated by his sudden passing. To help with the funeral expenses and other associated costs, a fundraiser has been set up by Allan Menz on behalf of Shakira Hassett, Shane’s relative. The family is seeking support to give Shane the farewell he deserves.
As of today, the fundraiser has raised $450 AUD, with donations coming from friends, family, and anonymous donors. Contributions include $250 from Gail Hayden and $100 from Kerensa Ward. The goal of the fundraiser is to reach $10,000 AUD to cover the costs.
The Hassett family is grateful for any contributions, no matter the size, as every donation helps during this difficult time.
