Scott A. Richer of Manchester Dies in Tragic Windsor Motorcycle Accident

Windsor, New Hampshire – Scott A. Richer, a 55-year-old resident of Manchester, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the evening of September 14, 2024. The fatal crash occurred on Second New Hampshire Turnpike, involving a collision between Richer’s motorcycle and a pickup truck hauling a trailer.

The accident took place around 6 p.m. when Richer, riding a black 2017 Harley Davidson Street Glide, attempted to overtake a red 2004 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck driven by Paul T. Sousa Jr., 32, of Weare, New Hampshire. Sousa was making a left turn into a residential driveway when Richer crossed the double yellow line to pass the truck on the left side. Tragically, Richer’s motorcycle collided with the side of the turning truck, leading to his being thrown from the bike and trapped underneath the trailer it was hauling.
