San Diego, CA – Arturo Eslava, a beloved family man, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of September 10, 2024. Arturo, who was known for his charisma and devotion to his family, tragically died after an unanticipated medical emergency.
According to a statement from his son, Saul Eslava, Arturo had spent the morning as usual, eating breakfast with his wife and relaxing at home. However, after feeling ill in the early afternoon and going to the bathroom, he was later found unresponsive by his wife. Despite the ambulance’s quick arrival and efforts to revive him, Arturo was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sudden loss has left the family in shock and heartbroken. Saul described his father as a man who always put his family first and was happiest when surrounded by loved ones. The family is particularly devastated by the impact this loss will have on Arturo’s 12-year-old daughter, who will now never have the chance to share a father-daughter dance at her quinceañera.
In response to this tragedy, the Eslava family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Arturo’s memorial service. As of today, $100 has been raised out of a $7,500 goal.
Arturo’s other son, Eliad Eslava, shared his grief on Facebook, writing, “Yesterday I got the horrible news my father has passed away. I never thought that I’d get this news. He was the most charismatic person you’d ever meet. I really wished I had more time to spend with him… I love you pops.”
The family is asking for support from the community to help honor Arturo’s memory and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to those around him.
