Ruth Aureta Lones (Rader), aged 91, passed away on September 11, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on July 9, 1933, in Mosheim, Tennessee, Ruth was the eldest of nine children and lived a long, fulfilling life. She was known for her sweet nature and her dedication to family and friends.
Ruth married James Lones in 1955, and the couple had two children, Judy Lynn Taylor and Jeannie Lones-Shultz. She graduated from beauty school in 1968 and worked as a hairdresser throughout her life. The family moved to Arizona in 1973 but returned to Tennessee for a time before settling back in Arizona in 1992. Ruth’s life was filled with simple pleasures like gardening, quilting, and canning with her late husband, James.
Later in life, Ruth found love again and married Allen Beiling in 2021. They enjoyed playing bingo and dancing at the Elks Club together.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Allen, her daughter, Jeannie Lones-Shultz, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many other family members who will miss her dearly. A memorial service is set for September 19, 2024, at Sunflower Mortuary in Mesa.
