Robert Wencke Passes Away Unexpectedly in Reno, Nevada – Family and Friends Mourn His Loss

Reno, Nevada – The community is grieving the sudden passing of Robert Wencke, who died unexpectedly on September 9, 2024. Robert, affectionately known as Bobby to his friends and family, was a cherished husband, father, and valued team member at Nevada Energy.

Robert leaves behind his wife of 17 years, Angie Wencke, and their two young sons, aged 4 and 8. His passing has deeply affected those close to him, and a GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized by Nicole Widdis to support the family during this difficult time. As of today, $1,925 has been raised toward a goal of $20,000 to help cover the costs of Robert’s memorial and provide financial support to his family.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Amy Reimers shared, “Our whole family is devastated from the sudden loss of such a beautiful soul. Bobby Wencke was a wonderful man, and my heart is broken for one of my longest and best friends, Angelina Wencke, and their two sons that he left behind. Please pray for them, and donate if you can.”

Others expressed their condolences on the same post. Sarah Turner Sturman commented, "I am so sorry, Amy," while Jennie Trachet added, "I’m so sorry, Amy." Diane Scott also sent her prayers, saying, "Sending you prayers, Amy, I am so sorry."
