Miami, Florida – Robert Carnochan, a revered conductor and faculty member at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, has passed away. His untimely death has deeply saddened the music community and those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was a wealth of knowledge, a fantastic teacher, and an all-around nice person. I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with him, if even just for a short while.
