Richard Geggan Passes Away at Queen Elizabeth Hospital – Funeral Service to Be Held at Clydebank Co-operative Funeral Home

Clydebank, Scotland – The family of Richard Geggan has announced with deep sorrow his passing on September 9, 2024, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Richard, a beloved member of his community, was surrounded by his family during his final moments. His death marks the loss of a man known for his kindness, warmth, and unwavering commitment to those around him.

A funeral service to honor Richard’s life will be held at Clydebank Co-operative Funeral Home on Hume Street, Tuesday, September 24, at 12 o’clock. After the service, Richard will be laid to rest at North Dalnottar Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friends, family, and community members are all welcome to attend the services and celebrate Richard’s legacy. Following the burial, there will be a celebration of his life at the Titan, where loved ones will gather to remember and share stories of the joy he brought into their lives.

Susan Geggan, his daughter, announced the news on Facebook, writing, “We are sad to announce the death of our dear Dad Richard Geggan who passed away on the 9th of September at Queen Elizabeth Hospital with his family around him.”

I have such good memories of your dad making a putting green in the garden and setting up the tent for sleepovers I was too scared to go through with.”
