Mata Amirjit Kaur, a cherished figure in the community, has passed away peacefully at the age of 79. Kaur, the daughter of Hakkam Singh and widow of the late Davinder Singh Purba, died on September 16, 2024. Her passing was announced on social media, where friends and family have expressed their condolences.
The cremation ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 PM on the same day at the Jalan Siram Crematorium in Butterworth. The cortege will leave her residence at No 26, Lorong Ceri 2, Taman Aman, Butterworth at 3 PM.
A path da bhog will be held at the Gurdwara Sahib Butterworth on September 28, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
