Rayne Resident Renella Boudreaux Passes Away After Battle with Pneumonia, Fundraiser Launched for Cremation and Memorial

Rayne, Louisiana – Renella Boudreaux, a beloved resident of Rayne, has sadly passed away following a brief battle with pneumonia. Renella’s family, led by her granddaughter Paige Boudreaux, has shared the heartbreaking news and is seeking support for her cremation and memorial services.

Renella, who lived a long life surrounded by family and friends, was hospitalized after developing pneumonia. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, her condition quickly deteriorated, and she passed away. Unfortunately, the family did not have life insurance in place as they had thought, leaving them in need of financial assistance to cover the costs of the cremation and memorial.

A fundraiser has been organized by Paige Boudreaux, with a goal of raising $6,500 to honor her grandmother’s memory. So far, $480 has been raised from three donations, including contributions from Jean Melancon, Paula and Francis Melancon, and Joshua Gotte.

Paige expressed her gratitude to those who have already donated, adding that even prayers for the family would be deeply appreciated during this difficult time.

Renella Boudreaux was loved by many and will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched.
