Parveen Shakeel Passes Away, Community Mourns Her Loss with Prayers and Tributes

Parveen Shakeel, a beloved member of the Manchester, Connecticut, Muslim community, has passed away. The news of her death was shared by the Bayt-ul Mamur Mosque in a heartfelt social media post. The mosque called upon the community to pray for her forgiveness and peace, asking Allah to grant her a place in Jannatul Ferdous, the highest level of paradise.

The Janazah (funeral) prayer for Parveen Shakeel is scheduled for Saturday, September 14th, at 1:30 PM, following the Dhuhor (midday) prayer at the Bayt-ul Mamur Mosque, located at 56 Cottage Street in Manchester. The burial will take place at 2:00 PM at the AMC Muslim Cemetery on Hillstown Road in the same city.

Condolences poured in from community members expressing their grief and support for the family. “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un (We belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return)," one mourner wrote. Another post read, “May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannah.”
