Nancy Somers, a kind-hearted and generous individual, passed away on September 16, 2024, at Flagstaff Medical Center. Her husband, Lawrence Somers, announced her death with deep sadness, expressing the immense loss of his wife, whom he described as a loving and giving person.
Nancy had wished to donate her body to help others, a testament to the compassion she showed throughout her life. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal service, as she preferred to avoid attention. Lawrence asked friends and family to cherish the good memories they shared with Nancy.
Many friends and colleagues took to social media to offer their condolences. David Vasquez, who had worked with Nancy at Aetna, Coventry, remarked, "She will be missed." Another close friend, Gabrielle Germana Neves-Lima, shared her sorrow and fond memories, writing, “Bless her beautiful soul. I will light a candle in honor of Nancy."
