Murrieta, California – The community is mourning the loss of Brian Wood, a beloved father, husband, and dedicated volunteer. Brian, who was an active member of District 28 and contributed countless hours to local Little Leagues, tragically passed away recently, leaving a profound impact on those who knew him.
Brian’s commitment to his family and the community, especially through his volunteer work, has been remembered fondly by friends and colleagues. His contributions to various Little League districts touched the lives of many young athletes and their families.
In response to his passing, R. Piceno, a close friend and organizer, has initiated a fundraiser to support Brian’s family during this difficult time. The fundraiser aims to assist the family with the expenses related to his final farewell. As of today, $2,025 has been raised toward a goal of $10,000, with contributions coming from friends, family, and generous donors, including Hector Castellanos and Mark Bell.
