Middletown, Ohio – The family of Josh Huffman, a beloved father of two, is grappling with his sudden and unexpected passing at the age of 27. Josh, remembered for his bright, funny, and kind personality, tragically passed away on the night of September 10, 2024, leaving behind his two children, Elena and Nash.
In the wake of this heartbreaking event, his cousin, Cathi Henton, has launched a fundraiser to help his mother, Karla, with funeral and cremation expenses. The family revealed that Josh did not have life insurance, adding to the financial strain during this difficult time.
The fundraiser, organized on September 11, 2024, has raised $940 out of its $3,000 goal through 18 donations so far. Taylor Bailey made the largest contribution with a $200 donation, while Paula Sorrento and Amy Booth were also among the generous donors.
Cathi shared how the sudden loss has shocked the family, especially given that Karla had just lost her father, Josh’s grandfather, only a few months earlier. She expressed deep gratitude for any support, whether through donations or prayers.
