Michelle Kerr, Co-Founder of Cosa Nostra PR, Passes Away After Battle with Cancer – Rock Community Mourns

Hampstead, London – Michelle Kerr, the co-founder of Cosa Nostra PR and a prominent figure in the rock music industry, has died at the age of 50. Kerr passed away on September 14, 2024, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

Kerr, who was known for her vibrant presence and dedication to rock and metal music, was a regular at Bloodstock Festival and made significant contributions through her work at RoadRunner Records before establishing her own PR firm. She was described as a strong, driven, and caring individual, leaving a significant impact on her peers and the music community.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Kerr’s memorial arrangements. The funds will be used to lay some of her ashes to rest in Highgate Cemetery and establish a memorial bench on Hampstead Heath, a location Kerr cherished deeply.

In heartfelt tributes on social media, Mole Ettridge commented, "So saddened! Another friend gone to Cancer. Rest In Peace Michelle another beautiful soul gone," while Roger Saji Khan Connor added, "Mole Ettridge: my heartfelt condolences on your loss. BIG HUG." Other notable comments include Tracey Dyksie expressing her sorrow with, "So sorry for your loss x," and Terry Whitworth offering his condolences to family and friends.

Kerr’s death marks a profound loss for the rock and metal community, where her influence and warmth will be deeply missed.
