Brisbane, Australia – A fundraiser has been launched to honor Michael Blinkhoff, a beloved figure known for his tender heart and introspective nature. Rachel Woo, who organized the campaign, aims to raise $5,700 for a memorial plaque at the Pagoda of Chung Tian Temple in Brisbane.
As of now, $900 has been raised from three generous donations. Sarah O’Donnell contributed $150, Ing Chau Yeo donated $500, and Michael & Mai Brown gave $250. This memorial will serve as a serene resting place surrounded by nature, reflecting Michael’s free-spirited and sentimental personality.
Michael Blinkhoff, who passed away recently, was remembered for his kindness and poetic soul. A poem he penned in July 2023 reads:
"Oh we of many journeys
Wandering earth’s plains
Searching in vain
For what we know not
Yet go forth we shall
Far into the unknown
Searching for that
We still don’t know."
