Mabank, Texas – Mary Schings, a beloved member of the Mabank community, unexpectedly passed away on September 7, 2024. Her family is now seeking support to organize a memorial service in her honor. Mary was known for her deep love and devotion to her family, serving as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and “adopted” mom to many who knew her.
In the wake of this sudden loss, the Schings family has created a fundraiser to help cover the costs of the memorial service. Steven Schings, who is organizing the fundraiser, shared that funding is tight due to the unexpected nature of Mary’s passing. The goal is to raise $1,000 to support the service, with $160 raised so far from three generous donors.
Donations were made by Amanda Staines, who contributed $100, Brad and Corrisa Bracey with $50, and an anonymous donor who gave $10. The family is deeply appreciative of any help during this challenging time, whether through donations or simply sharing the fundraiser and offering prayers.
