Madeline Myers, 28, Reported Missing from Neenah – Family Appeals for Public’s Help

Neenah, Wisconsin – A search is underway for 28-year-old Madeline Myers, who was last seen in the Neenah area around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18. The young woman was reported missing by her family after failing to make contact, an unusual occurrence given her close relationship with them.

Madeline was last seen in the vicinity of Dell Court. According to her mother, Penny Myers, it is out of character for Madeline to go silent, as they share a daily routine of communicating, including a nightly "goodnight" text. This sudden break in their communication has heightened concerns for her safety.

In an emotional plea, Penny Myers urged anyone with information to come forward. “This is my only child, Madeline Myers, and she is missing,” she said. Penny highlighted Madeline’s distinctive tattoos, especially on her arm, and encouraged people to study her photos, which have been widely circulated on social media, hoping that even a small detail could help in locating her daughter.

Adding to the family’s distress, Madeline’s phone, which they use to share locations, has stopped transmitting her whereabouts. This unusual occurrence has left her family and friends deeply worried. Both of Madeline’s parents, Penny and Eric Myers, have made heartfelt appeals to the public for assistance.

Eric Myers also took to social media, expressing his concern: “This is Madeline Myers, she’s our daughter, she’s been missing for over 28 hours now. Please, if anyone has seen her, please call the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.” He concluded with a call for unity, saying: “Let’s all say a prayer and come together as a community and find our little girl.”

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and has requested anyone with information regarding Madeline’s whereabouts to contact them at 920.236.7300, quoting Complaint #2985.

Several community members have taken to Facebook to share their thoughts and prayers for Madeline’s safe return. Paula Pecore commented, “They need to correct the article. Her weight in the flyer is 115 lbs and in the article, it’s 160 lbs. Let’s make sure these are accurate to help identify her.” Nikki Werner pointed out discrepancies in physical descriptions, stating, “The article says she’s 5’5” and 160 pounds.” Toby Henry added, “Maybe she met someone and decided to just go and have some fun. She is an adult that doesn’t have to check in if she doesn’t want to. Hopefully, she’s just having fun and enjoying life and SAFE..fingers crossed.” Dawn Weyenberg-Herzfeldt offered, “Prayers to finding her safe.”

The Myers family continues to appeal to the community for support and assistance in spreading the word about Madeline’s disappearance. Penny Myers concluded her plea with a simple but powerful request: “Please help us find her. Please share.”

Authorities and family members stress that any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be crucial in bringing Madeline home safely.
