Louisville Resident Colt Martin Tragically Passes Away After Battling Mental Illness, Fundraiser Launched to Support Funeral Costs

Louisville, KY – The community is mourning the loss of Colt Martin, a beloved resident who tragically lost his battle with mental illness. Colt’s friends and family are seeking support for his funeral expenses through a GoFundMe fundraiser organized by Autumn Waters and Cheyenne Martin.

Colt, remembered for his passion for cooking, playing guitar, and working on his Jeep, brought joy to everyone around him. His love for quiet night drives through back roads, watching classic horror movies, and playing with his cat, Shit Bit, made him a cherished individual among his family and friends. Despite his outward warmth, Colt struggled deeply with mental illness.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Autumn Waters shared the grief that Colt’s family is experiencing, stating, “I’m reaching out to share a heartfelt cause for Colt Martin, who brought so much joy to everyone around him but tragically lost his battle with mental illness.”

Cheyenne Martin expressed her sorrow with a touching message: “I love you babes, I’m so sorry. I’m here with you always.”

The GoFundMe campaign, which has raised $600 of its $10,000 goal so far, aims to help Colt’s family cover the costs of his funeral and assist his mother, who is facing the emotional and financial burden of losing her son in her home.

Autumn Waters emphasized the importance of every contribution, no matter how small, stating, “Every donation will help his family find closure and support his mom during this incredibly tough time.”

Contributions can be made through the GoFundMe page, with additional support requested via Venmo to Cheyenne Martin.

If you would like to help, you can donate to Colt’s funeral service and assist his family in their time of need.
