Louie Wayne Fuqua, age 90, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Knollwood Manor. Mr. Fuqua, who was known for his kindness and strong community ties, had chosen cremation, with a memorial service to be announced at a later date by Alexander Funeral Home.
Fuqua was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Nash Fuqua, and his parents. His passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, and tributes have begun to pour in on social media.
