Sr. Ellen Randall, the last Sister of the Good Samaritans to serve as Principal of St. Francis Catholic School, has passed away. She died on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the age of 79. Sr. Ellen’s death marks the end of a significant chapter for the school community, where her dedication and leadership had a lasting impact.
The funeral Mass for Sr. Ellen Randall will be held at Sts Peter and Paul Bulimba in Queensland on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 10:00 am. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Nudgee Cemetery, with refreshments provided afterward.
In a poignant tribute, St. Francis Catholic School shared, “Her dedication to our school and her lasting impact on our community will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace and love.” The Sisters of the Good Samaritan also remembered her with heartfelt words, acknowledging her 57 years of Religious Profession and her commitment to her faith and community.
