Long Branch, NJ Cab Driver Anthony Hill Passes Away at 42; Funeral Services Announced

Long Branch, New Jersey – Anthony Hill, a well-known cab driver for Yellow Car Co., tragically passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the age of 42. Anthony, a resident of Eatontown, was loved by many in the community, where he became a familiar face through his job and warm personality. His passing has left family, friends, and the community mourning the loss of a beloved individual.

Born on August 5, 1982, in Long Branch, Anthony was a graduate of Long Branch High School, Class of 2000. He married his high school sweetheart, Emily Vasquez, in 2009, and they built a beautiful life together, raising their two children, Amaya and Anthony Jr.

Anthony’s kind nature, infectious smile, and ability to connect with people made him a cherished member of the community. For 18 years, he worked as a cab driver, where his friendly demeanor and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of his passengers.

Anthony’s love for life extended beyond his work. He enjoyed gaming and was passionate about cooking, often delighting friends and family with his creative recipes.

The cause of his passing has not been publicly disclosed at this time.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, located at 236 Monmouth Road in Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Visiting hours are scheduled from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch.

Anthony Hill is survived by his wife Emily Vasquez, their children Amaya and Anthony Jr., his mother Michelina Hill, his siblings Carmela Hill, Jean Fields, and Robert Hill III, along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Anthony’s presence will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
