Linda Strickland Lawson Davis Remembered for Her Resilient Spirit and Kindness

Linda Strickland Lawson Davis, a cherished member of the Stone High Class of 1968, has passed away this week. Davis, who had been residing at Azalea Gardens, was known for her enduring optimism and friendly demeanor despite facing numerous challenges throughout her life.

The exact time and cause of her death have not been disclosed. Davis leaves behind her daughter Kelly, two granddaughters, and three siblings.

Pat Burge Miles, a fellow classmate, shared on Facebook, “She persevered through many difficulties in her life but was always smiling and friendly. Praying for all of them.” Myra Rayburn also noted, “She worked for the schools for many years! Yes, she has had many difficulties!”

Davis’s legacy is marked by her ability to bring joy to those around her, especially during her time at Azalea Gardens. Her kind spirit and resilience will be remembered by all who knew her.
