Lillian Strzelski, Perkasie PA, Pennridge School District Student, Dies Tragically

Perkasie, PA – The Pennridge School District community is mourning the loss of Lillian Strzelski, a sixth grader at Pennridge South Middle School and a 12U softball player. Lillian passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2024, leaving her family, friends, and community heartbroken.

Lillian was known for her bright and caring personality, spreading joy and positivity to everyone she encountered. Her cheerful demeanor and commitment to helping others made her a beloved member of the Pennridge School District community. Her contributions went beyond the classroom as she actively supported her peers and participated in community events.

The Deep Run Valley Sports Association, where Lillian played softball, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, stating, "It’s with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of one of our members, Lillian Strzelski, a 12U softball player and a sixth grader at Pennridge South Middle School. On behalf of Deep Run Valley Sports Association and the Executive Board, we extend our sincere condolences to Lillian’s family and friends during this difficult time and our deepest sympathies to her coaches and teammates affected by this tragic loss."

Family and friends have taken to social media to express their sorrow. Matthew James wrote, "Omg that is awful. Prayers," while Samantha Myers posted, "Oh my. I’m so so sorry."

Lillian Strzelski’s family has yet to release an official obituary, and the cause of her death has not been made public.

The Pennridge School District and the wider community are coming together to honor the life of Lillian, whose presence and positive spirit touched many lives.
