Lawrenceville, Illinois – Gavyn Clark, a local resident, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support his recovery following a severe car accident on September 6, 2024.
The accident left Clark with significant injuries, nearly resulting in quadriplegia. He underwent successful surgery on his lower back, but faces a challenging road to recovery, including relearning how to walk and adapting his home for accessibility.
Clark has set a fundraising goal of $20,000 to cover medical expenses, home modifications, and living costs during his extended recovery period. As of today, the campaign has raised $30 from two donors.
Kenneth Wilson and Terra Schile have contributed $20 and $10 respectively. Clark expresses deep gratitude for any support and emphasizes the importance of community help during this difficult time.
