John Thomas Becker, aged 64, from Mason City, Illinois, has passed away on September 11, 2024, at Mason District Hospital in Havana. Born on January 29, 1960, in Lincoln, Illinois, Becker was the son of Thomas and Maxine (Lambert) Becker. He is survived by his brother David (Alberta) Becker, sister Barbara (Darwin) Kindred, and several nieces and nephews.
Becker was known for his friendly nature and fondness for activities such as garage sales and church potlucks. His life was marked by his involvement in local community events and his enjoyment of bingo at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. Visitation is scheduled for September 19, 2024, from 9-11 AM at Jefferson Street Christian Church, with services following at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Indian Point Cemetery, Athens.
