John Joseph Hanley, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the age of 78. A cherished member of his family and community, Hanley leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be treasured forever.
Hanley was the devoted husband of Barbara for over 50 years, and a loving father to his children Kim and Ron, Kerrie and Mark, and Darren and Lori. He was also a proud grandfather, affectionately known as "Pop" to Georgia, Jasmine, Joshua, Jacob, Emily, and Thomas.
His family announced that a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Shoalhaven Memorial Gardens Chapel in Worrigee, New South Wales. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in Hanley’s honor for Parkinson’s NSW, an organization close to the family’s heart.
