Jeremy Gilby, a beloved member of the Tucson community and a friend to many within the Faith Christian Church (FCC), passed away at his home around September 7, 2024. His death was announced by former members of FCC, who expressed their deep sadness and fond memories of Gilby. He is remembered for his kindness and sense of humor.
The Faith Christian Church will be hosting an informal open house this Thursday to honor Jeremy’s memory, inviting those who wish to pay their respects.
Peter Tomlinson, a close friend of Jeremy, shared a heartfelt tribute: “I just can’t believe this. He was my sax playin’ brother. We used to laugh a lot. Crazy.” Other tributes came from members of the FCC community. Duane Lourasa reflected, “He was a kind person, I am sad I didn’t get to know him better while we were still in that system.”
Jeremy Gilby will be missed by all who knew him. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his friends, and the Tucson community is encouraged to gather in his honor this week.
