Janet Kay Jantzen Pate, a cherished figure from Wesley Chapel, Florida, has passed away at the age of 61. Pate succumbed to cancer on September 13, 2024, at Moffitt Hospital in Tampa. Her passing followed a nine-month battle with the illness.
Born on April 17, 1963, to Lawrence and Wilma (Leffler) Jantzen, Pate is remembered by her family, including her life partner Damon Redditt, her children Samantha, Tisen, and Jonathan Pate, and her nine grandchildren. Her siblings Dianna Carver, Sandra Jantzen, and Brenda Jane Teeter also mourn her loss.
Social media tributes highlight the deep impact of her passing. "My heart is heavy with grief," said Tammy Carver, a relative. "Janet was a light in our lives and now she is an angel in heaven," Carver added.
Janet chose cremation, honoring her wish for no formal service. Her legacy of love and cooking for her loved ones remains cherished.
