Marshall, IL – James Jim Lucas, a beloved resident of Marshall, passed away on the morning of September 14, 2024, after a difficult battle with cancer. His family, led by his daughter Sierra Lucas, is seeking help to cover the funeral expenses through a fundraiser.
James Lucas, described as an amazing man, is being honored with a fundraiser to assist with costs related to his funeral and final arrangements. Unfortunately, James did not have life insurance, placing the financial burden on his family. The funds raised will contribute towards the funeral services and a beautiful urn for his final resting place.
So far, the fundraiser has garnered $151 from four donations, with a goal of reaching $3,000. Contributors include Robin Mccarty, who donated $25, and Lyndall Crowe, who generously gave $100. There have also been two anonymous donations.
