Houston Authorities Intensify Search for Missing 14-Year-Old Lakayla Thrasher

Houston, Texas – Authorities are urgently seeking the public’s help to locate 14-year-old Lakayla Jackson-Thrasher, who was last seen on September 17, 2024, in the 10100 block of Williams Field Dr. Lakayla is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 209 pounds.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office issued a missing person alert, asking anyone with information about Lakayla’s whereabouts to contact their Missing Persons Unit at 713-755-7427 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).

Family and friends are deeply worried and are relying on the community’s assistance to bring Lakayla home safely. The search for the teenager has gained significant attention on social media, with many expressing their concern and prayers for her safe return.

Angie Muniz Ngo wrote on Facebook, “Praying for a safe return home in Jesus’ name!” Similarly, Kevin Dewayne Shepherd urged others, “I hope she’s found safe, let’s share this picture all over FB and IG.”

Additional posts flooded in with support. Patricia Goode shared, “Praying for safe return,” while Denise Smith commented, “Prayers she is found safe.”

Bel Bella, in a more recent post, added, “Prayers she’s found asap,” and Monica Griffith Kannady echoed, “Praying safe return.”

The authorities are hopeful that with the community’s help, they will locate Lakayla soon and ensure her well-being.
