Holy Cross High School Mourns the Untimely Death of Grade 12 Student Lavela Mhlekude at Age 17

Holy Cross High School – Lavela Mhlekude, a dedicated Grade 12 student at Holy Cross High School, has tragically passed away at the age of 17. The school community and his loved ones are grappling with the profound loss of this vibrant young individual.

Lavela was known for his academic dedication and active participation in various school activities. His passing has left a significant void among his peers and teachers, who remember him as a student with a passion for learning and a commitment to excellence.

The memorial service for Lavela Mhlekude is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Holy Cross High School Hall. This event will allow friends, family, and classmates to honor his memory and reflect on his impact.

On Facebook, friends and community members have shared their condolences and tributes. H.C.H.S wrote, “HCHS wishes a happy heavenly birthday to Lavela, and a special happy birthday to his living twin sister, Lathitha Mhlekude. May the Lord be with her and her family.” Nikiwe Omo Cool commented, “Rest in peace Lavela,” while Radie Ka Makheswa expressed, “This is so painful, how can God let this happen?”
