Hingham, Massachusetts – Luke Jagielski, a 7th-grade student at Hingham Middle School, tragically passed away in what authorities are now investigating as a suicide. The heartbreaking incident occurred on Friday, September 13, 2024, at a residence on Daley Road in Hingham.
According to the Hingham Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene following a serious incident report. Upon arrival, they found Luke Jagielski unconscious. Sadly, he was confirmed dead at the scene. Law enforcement officials have stated that no foul play is suspected in the case.
Luke Jagielski was an active and beloved student, known for his love of sports and participation in various school activities. His death has left the Hingham community in mourning. To support students and staff affected by this devastating loss, counselors have been made available on the middle school campus.
