Spartanburg County, South Carolina – Lawrence Anthony Scott, a 65-year-old resident of Greer, South Carolina, was tragically killed in a single-car accident on Friday evening. The incident occurred around 6:29 p.m. on South Carolina Highway 101 near Sharon Church Road.
Scott was driving a 2014 Honda sedan northbound when the vehicle veered off the road, struck a culvert, and hit a utility pole before overturning. Despite being rushed to Spartanburg Medical Center, he was pronounced dead at 7:36 p.m., according to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.
