Gilroy Resident Obdulio "Yuyo" Perez Remembered as Fundraiser Launched to Support His Children

Gilroy, CA – Obdulio “Yuyo” Perez, a beloved member of the Gilroy community, has passed away, and a fundraiser has been launched to help support his children during this difficult time. Known for his hardworking nature, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family, Perez was also an enthusiastic Raiders fan, always putting his loved ones first.

The fundraiser, organized by Anastasia Suniga, aims to raise $10,000 to assist the Perez family in laying their father to rest and easing the financial strain during their mourning period. As of today, $2,135 has been raised from 18 donations, with contributions ranging from $5 to $1,000.

Anastasia shared that any donation, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated, as it will help honor Perez and bring relief to his children during this challenging time. The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of support and kindness from the community.

Arturo Ojeda made the top donation of $1,000, while Carolyn Schoeneman recently contributed $50, and S G made the first donation of $5.

The Perez family is hopeful to reach their goal and lay Obdulio "Yuyo" Perez to rest as they wish.
