Galena Park High School Alumnus Mike Manahan Passes Away – Friends Mourn His Loss

Galena Park, Texas – The Galena Park community is mourning the loss of beloved alumnus Mike Manahan, whose passing has left a deep void in the hearts of many. Mike, a graduate of Galena Park High School, was known for his warmth, humor, and ability to forge meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.

Mike, who had no immediate family residing in Massachusetts where he was living, was remembered by friends across the globe, as well as those from his high school days. The police are currently reaching out to his relatives for further arrangements. In the meantime, friends have come together on social media to share their grief and memories of the man who touched so many lives.

Kimberly Ashworth expressed her sorrow on Facebook, writing, "I found out today that my dear friend Mike Manahan has passed away. I don’t have any other information right now. The police are trying to contact his relatives, because he doesn’t have any family members in Massachusetts. He will be sorely missed by so many of us."

Other friends shared their condolences. Patricia Wolfe Nagle wrote, "So sad. RIP," while Michelle Lynn Crate added, "Awww very sad."

Many were shocked by the news, including Maureen McCarty Watson, who commented, "What?? Oh no!!" and Kristy RaAnn Jones, who said, "What?! He was my big brother in Band. What happened to him?"

The outpouring of grief continued as Jay Railey expressed, "Wow, very sad," and Kimberly Ashworth invited others to share pictures of Mike to honor his memory. "If anyone has any pictures of Mike, please post them here," she said.

Dave Pena echoed the sadness, saying, "Oh no! Dang…", while Kelly Flake Brembs called it "very sad news."

Elizabeth Conyer and Flores Rocio also shared their sorrow, with Rocio writing, "Oh no! So sorry to hear this. RIP."

Mike’s death has left his friends and extended community in shock, and while further details surrounding his passing are still being determined, his memory will undoubtedly live on through the countless lives he touched. His friends from Galena Park High School, as well as those he met throughout his life, will deeply miss him.

Rest in peace, Mike Manahan. You will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
