Fundraiser Launched to Support Carol Wells and Her Son Nathan After Tragic Motorcycle Accident

A fundraiser has been initiated to support Carol Wells and her son Nathan after a devastating motorcycle accident on Friday, September 13th. Nathan, while riding with a friend on a familiar route between Port Colborne and Sherkston Shores, was involved in a severe collision with his companion. The impact left Nathan unresponsive at the scene, prompting emergency responders to airlift him to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, where he remains in critical condition.

Nathan has undergone numerous surgeries to address his severe injuries. Known for his vibrant personality and his deep dedication as a father to his 9-year-old son, Wyatt, Nathan now faces an arduous recovery process. The emotional and financial toll on his family has been immense, as his mother, Carol Wells, stays by his side through this trying time.

To provide relief, Nathan’s friends, led by organizer Mike Landry, have started a fundraiser to help cover various costs. These include Carol’s travel and accommodation expenses, Nathan’s future physiotherapy and rehabilitation, lost income, and financial support for Wyatt.

As of Wednesday, September 18th, $200 has been raised from four donors. Contributions from individuals such as Kim Frederiks, Katie Whidden, Tammy Landry-Taylor, and an anonymous donor have already started to make a difference. The goal is to reach $150,000 to help support the family through this challenging period.

The organizers are appealing to the public for help, emphasizing that every donation, regardless of size, will provide crucial assistance to Nathan, Carol, and Wyatt.
