Gilkey, North Carolina – The family of Dontray McElrath is mourning his sudden passing, which occurred on the morning of September 12, 2024. A fundraiser has been organized by his first cousin, Jammal Forney, to help cover the costs of laying Dontray to rest.
As of today, $1,500 has been raised out of the $8,000 goal through 19 donations. The top contribution of $250 was made by Megan Ward, with Brittney Stofer offering $50 and the first donation coming from Ivan McElrath, who gave $100.
The family expressed their gratitude to everyone who has provided comforting words during this difficult time. The funds collected will assist with funeral expenses, and any additional contributions in Dontray’s memory are greatly appreciated.
