Fundraiser Launched to Celebrate the Life of Joshua Chandler Draham, Who Passed Away at 21

Augusta, GA – A fundraiser has been started by Kennedy Smith to honor the memory of her brother-in-law, Joshua Chandler Draham, who passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2024, at the age of 21.

Joshua, who was living in Mississippi at the time of his passing, is remembered as a kind, loving, and silly individual who was deeply cherished by his family and friends. The family is seeking to raise funds to cover the expenses for a ceremony in Joshua’s hometown and to retrieve his belongings and remains.

The GoFundMe campaign, titled "Celebrate Joshua Chandler Draham’s Life," has set a goal of $600. As of today, $70 has been raised through two donations from Lilly Keip and Chad Shirey, contributing $20 and $50, respectively.

Kennedy Smith expressed her heartfelt appreciation for any support, noting that the family is struggling with this sudden loss and is grateful for any assistance during this difficult time.

Those who wish to support the fundraiser can donate directly on the GoFundMe platform, where contributions are protected by the GoFundMe Giving Guarantee, which ensures that donors can receive a refund in cases of fraud.

The family is hoping to raise the necessary funds to give Joshua the ceremony he deserves and to bring his remains home.
