Fundraiser Launched in Memory of Scott Strachan to Support Funeral Costs and His Young Son Leo

Scotland – A fundraiser has been created in memory of Scott Strachan, known affectionately as "Stracky" to those who loved him. Organized by Lynsay Mcquade, the fundraiser aims to assist Scott’s family with funeral expenses and to support his young son, Leo, who was the light of his life.

As of today, September 12, 2024, the campaign has raised £2,060 from 23 donations, working toward a goal of £5,000. Contributions range from £50, donated by Mcquade herself, to £300, the highest donation so far made by David Buckley.

Scott Strachan was remembered fondly as “one of life’s good guys.” The outpouring of support has been a testament to how deeply he was cherished by friends and family. Many donors have stepped forward, with Ross Hendry recently contributing £100 to the cause.

The funds raised will help provide Strachan with a deserving farewell and offer financial support for his beloved son, Leo. Organizers encourage donations, no matter the size, to ensure that Scott receives the tribute he truly deserves.

Anyone wishing to contribute can find the fundraiser under Lynsay Mcquade’s name, as she continues to organize this effort on behalf of Scott’s family.
